Which format?

PNG keeps interface text crisp. WebP and JPEG make much smaller files for thumbnails. PDF keeps a whole page as one document.

Viewport or full page?

Viewport mode captures the selected screen size. Full-page mode scrolls within a time budget and supports pages up to 12,000 pixels tall.

When to add a delay

Use an extra delay for late-rendering page content. Shots also waits briefly for fonts and images; pages with continuous updates can still vary.

What happens after you click Capture?

Your request enters a fresh browser session.
The page loads with your viewport and cleanup settings.
The image appears here for download. A successful capture uses one credit.

Save the result before leaving. Shots does not retain screenshot files. Login-only pages, CAPTCHA challenges and unsupported network requests may prevent a useful capture.
